EFCC: Ondo State Speaker, Others Arraigned Over Fraud Allegation.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), yesterday arraigned a House of Assembly Speaker, Bamidele Oleyelogun before a High Court In Akure over an allegation of Fraud.

Oleyelogun was docked alongside a lawmaker representing Akoko South-West Constituency II, Felemu Bankole, as well as a civil servant, Segun Oyadeyi Bankole, on a two-count charge involving fraud.

The defendants pleaded not guilty to the allegations leveled against them.

Justice Adegboyega Adebusoye, in his ruling, adjourned the case until May 18 for a proper hearing of the trial as he asked the defendants to continue enjoying their administrative bail until the next hearing.
