Empower Youth Organization Hosts Successful Leadership Seminar in Sagamu

The Empower Youth Organization recently held a highly impactful leadership seminar in Sagamu, themed “Empowering Youth Voices: Shaping Tomorrow’s Policies.”

 

The event brought together a diverse group of community leaders, stakeholders, and youth to engage in meaningful discussions and reflections on the role of young people in driving societal growth and development. The seminar featured keynote addresses from renowned speakers, including Babatunde Irukera, CEO of the Federal Competition & Consumer Protection Agency, who emphasized the importance of passion in shaping future policies.

The event provided a platform for youth and community leaders to share ideas, experiences, and perspectives on how to address pressing social issues and create positive change. Attendees included representatives from various organizations, including CAPPA, Ideation Hub Africa, and the Sagamu Youth Association, as well as chairmen of Zonal CDCs and other community stakeholders.

 

The convener, Miss Janet Olaolu, expressed gratitude to attendees and pledged to continue empowering youth voices through future initiatives.

 

The seminar was widely hailed as a success, with participants praising the organization for providing a conducive environment for meaningful engagement and knowledge sharing. The event underscored the importance of empowering young people to take an active role in shaping their communities and future. With its focus on youth leadership and empowerment, the Empower Youth Organization is poised to continue making a positive impact in Sagamu and beyond.

 

In recognition of their outstanding contributions to the community, the Empower Youth Organization also presented awards to several deserving individuals. These awardees included exceptional youth leaders, community champions, and change-makers who have demonstrated remarkable dedication and commitment to driving positive change in Sagamu.
