ENERGY INSTITUTE TRAIN CITIZENS ON SOLAR POWER INSTALLATION, SPONSORED BY OGUN STATE GOVERNMENT

Ogun State Government together with ASTEVENS Renewable Energy Institute, Aseese in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, has trained 20 citizens on Solar Energy Installation and Maintenance, as well as the construction of Inverters for homes and industrial use.

Mr. Olaniji Aisida said the program was part of the capacity enhancement efforts of the Prince Dapo Abiodun led-administration to equip the people with the required skills for vocational and entrepreneurial development, towards exploring other alternatives ways of surmounting the epileptic power supply. He appreciated the collaborative support of the Institute.

Mr. Dimeji Bello, the special assistant to the Governor on Finance, said “This is a very laudable collaboration that will further provide an opportunity to our people on Solar power management and its attendant usefulness”.
