FABOMI FOUNDATION, SET TO CLOTHE AND FEED 250 LAGOS HOMELESS CHILDREN BY DECEMBER 2022

The Fabomi Foundation through its Convener, Folahomi Ogunjimi has made known its plans to feed and clothe at least 250 children resident in Lagos during the December festivities.

The move has been made in line with the charity project the Lagos-based foundation started in 2018 tagged “clotheTheClotheless”.

In the statement, Ogunjimi described the foundation as “an initiative that was born out of the passion to render service to humanity.

It is our mission to create innovative ways to tackle societal challenges of the younger generation through citizen participation. Ultimately, our goal is to provide real-life essentials to underprivileged children in and around our community”.

Speaking further, Ogunjimi called on the public to support the foundation by donating, “The public can join and support Folabomi Foundation in feeding and clothing 250 less-privileged children with brand new clothes this Christmas.

Over the years the foundation has fed, clothed, and sponsored over 850 children, she said “From December 2018 until date, over 850 children living in poor communities and slums have been fed and clothed with brand-new clothing pieces through the #ClotheTheClothless project by the Fabomi Foundation.

The foundation has made a further impact in the Education sector as it in March 2022 procured the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination forms for 46 female students while 600 students of Ijesa-tedo Senior Secondary School and Sanya Senior Secondary School were trained in a series of career-related workshops the foundation organized.
