Family Of Late Oba Ogboni Demand Thorough Investigations As One Wife Found Alive
Following the attack of the house of late Oba Adetoyese Olakisan, popularly known as Oba Ogboni Agbaye, in imesi-Ile, in the Obokun local government area of Osun state, the family has called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the abudction of his two wives.
A security source disclosed that one of the abducted wives was in the early hours of Tuesday found close to Ikoro Ekiti, in Ekiti State after escaping from the abductors.
A traditionalist and two other passengers who accompanied him on a search mission for the victims on Monday were involved in a lone accident when returning to Imesi-Ile from Ila, killing all three.
In an interview on Tuesday, with the late traditionalist, Dr Ademola Ekundayo confirmed that one of the two abductees had been found alive.
“It was true that the assailants who spoke in Yoruba and Fulfulde asked those they met in the house for Ogboni ancient crown and certificate of registration of Ogboni Aborigine.
