First Bank CEO Discusses Nigerian Economy, Business Survival in 2024 Amid Hardships

The Chief Executive Officer of First Bank, Dr. Adesola Adeduntan, has stressed the imperative for businesses to adapt their strategies in 2024, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s recent appropriations bill.

 

Expressing optimism about the 2024 economy, Adeduntan highlighted the value of proactive corporate adaptation in response to evolving government objectives and policies. Speaking at the First Bank of Nigeria’s summit themed “Nigeria Economic Outlook 2024: Current Realities and Prospects,” Adeduntan emphasized the need for a decisive and forward-thinking mindset among businesses.

 

He advised seizing opportunities presented by the Nigerian economy and capitalizing on the recently signed N28.7 trillion appropriation bill to stimulate economic growth. Adeduntan underscored First Bank’s commitment to supporting businesses through economic cycles and providing trusted financial guidance.
