Fulham Secure Signing of Arsenal Midfielder Emile Smith Rowe on Five-year Deal

Fulham Football Club has announced the acquisition of England midfielder Emile Smith Rowe from Premier League rivals Arsenal on a five-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months. The transfer, valued at a potential £34 million, sets a new record for the club.

Smith Rowe, 24, joins Fulham after rising through Arsenal’s academy ranks, making 115 senior appearances for the Gunners. Despite his talent, he struggled for game time last season, prompting a move to Craven Cottage.

In an exclusive interview with FFCtv, Smith Rowe expressed his excitement, stating, “I’m thrilled to be here and start this new chapter. I was eager to join my teammates and contribute to the project.” He praised Fulham’s vision, saying, “The manager’s plans and the talented squad convinced me this is the perfect step for my career.”

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta bid farewell to Smith Rowe, acknowledging his growth and desire for regular playing time. “Emile’s departure is bittersweet, but I’m excited for his new opportunity. He needs to start matches and play consistently at this stage of his career.”
