GFF/OGD Launches 2025–2030 Food Security & Humanitarian Support Project to Uphold President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

In a significant move to enhance community welfare and foster sustainable development, the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF), in partnership with Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD), officially announced the initiation of its 2025–2030 Food Security & Humanitarian Funding Initiative on Tuesday.
This ambitious five-year program is designed to align with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, focusing on effective support for the most vulnerable populations.
Since its establishment in February 2000, the GFF has been at the forefront of humanitarian efforts throughout Ogun State and the Southwest region, addressing key areas such as healthcare, skill development, economic empowerment, and educational advancement.
A key highlight of this new initiative is the launch of the GFF Loyalty ATM Card — an innovative platform aimed at providing emergency and ongoing palliative assistance to mothers, children, widows, and low-income families.
The program officially began on April 22, 2025, in the Ijebu North East Local Government Area, with a pilot phase set to run across four Local Government Council Areas in the Ogun East Senatorial District. This pilot will serve as a framework for future widespread implementation across all nine Local Government Councils in the district.
The Loyalty Card, which is integrated into Nigeria’s banking system, empowers verified GFF members and volunteers to access vital funds for essentials such as food and medication, particularly in light of recent subsidy removals and current economic challenges.
The GFF Loyalty Card embodies the principle of “Being Your Brother’s Keeper,” a core value shared by the Gateway Movement and a driving force behind this humanitarian endeavor.
At the launch event, Senator Gbenga Daniel, representing Ogun East at the Federal Government level, reaffirmed his dedication to grassroots development and equitable access to federal resources. With support from a broad network of national allies and community stakeholders, he highlighted the importance of technology, partnership, and transparency in the initiative’s success.
To ensure efficient access and accountability, the GFF has engaged a commercial bank alongside technology consultants to establish an automated backend system for the periodic disbursement of funds.
In addition, trained representatives from the Gateway Movement at ward and LGA levels will be available to assist beneficiaries with registration, inquiries, and card activation.
The 2025–2030 support initiative will also include ongoing GFF programs such as:
-GFF Eye Care and Surgery Initiative** — Providing essential optical health services to underserved communities.
-GFF Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Projects** — Offering vocational training and entrepreneurship opportunities for women and youth.
-Education Enrollment & Scholarship Assistance** — Helping school-aged children with tuition support and educational resources.
As this new chapter begins, the GFF invites all Nigerians to engage in a spirit of service, collaboration, and shared responsibility.
