Go About Your Daily Activities, Dapo Abiodun Assures Ogun Residents Ahead of August 1st Protests

In anticipation of planned protests on August 1st, Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, convened a joint meeting with heads of security agencies in the state to assess their preparedness and ensure a peaceful environment for citizens.

The meeting aimed to guarantee that law enforcement agencies are equipped to handle any potential protests, limiting them to designated areas and preventing disruptions to daily activities.

Governor Abiodun reassured citizens that the state remains committed to maintaining its status as the most peaceful in the country. He urged residents to continue their daily routines without fear, as the security agencies are well-prepared to handle any situation.

“We urge our citizens to continue their daily activities as usual, as any protests, if at all, will be limited to designated areas.” Governor Dapo said in a post on X.
