Gov. Abiodun, Other Political Figures Attend Ogun State Legal Year’s Service, Emphasize Modernizing Legal System

The Ogun state Legal Year’s Service was held yesterday at the Cathedral of St. Peter, Ake, Abeokuta to usher in honourable members of the bench and the bar into a new legal year of 2023/2024.
Prince Dapo Abiodun, the governor of ogun state and other political personalities in attendance thanked God for the Grace of navigating the last legal year and for the protection to see yet another one.
He also congratulated the Chief Judge of Ogun State, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu and other members of the bench as well as legal luminaries of the bar.
In attendance was also the Akarigbo of Remo land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, and other high profile dignitaries.
“We encouraged them to ensure that our dear state continues to play a pioneering role in the evolution and development of a modernized and functional legal system in Nigeria, and we commended them on the right track of unbiased legal adjudication and administration of the Ogun State Judiciary in the previous years.” The governor said in a statement.
