Governor Dapo Abiodun Commissions Awosanya Street Road in Ajaka, Sagamu

In a move aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents of Ajaka community in Sagamu, the Ogun State Government, led by Governor Dapo Abiodun, has commissioned the newly constructed Awosanya Street Road. The project was initiated by the Sagamu Local Government Chairman, Ogbeni Afolabi Jubril Odulate, in response to the community’s need for improved infrastructure.

The commissioning ceremony, held on June 13, 2023, was attended by dignitaries including the Commissioner for Community Development, Hon. Ganiu Oladunjoye Hazmat, representing Governor Dapo Abiodun, Hon. Odusote, the host councilor, Oba Solomon Ogunlade, the Orimadegun of Araromi, representing the Ewusi of Makun, Eng. Femi Ososanwo, the Asoju Akarigbo, representing the Akarigbo of Remo, Hon. Mohammed Oluwadamilare Bello,

Other dignitaries in attendance include; Hon. Adeyinka Adeniran, Hon. Ola Oresanya, Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Rotimiolu Akinlesi, Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape, Hon. Adebiyi Adeleye (Apagun), Bar. Olivia Olubukola, Ogun State LG Service Commission, Hon. Rafiu Opaleye, Party Chairman, Dapo Abiodun Alliance Sisters, National Council of Women Society of Nigeria, and Sagamu LG Management Team.

In his welcome speech, Ogbeni Jubril Odulate reiterated his commitment to ensuring daily growth and development in various areas and communities within Sagamu. He emphasized that this project is a testament to his administration’s dedication to providing essential infrastructure and improving the lives of residents. Odulate expressed his appreciation to the state government for their support and collaboration in delivering the project.

The newly constructed road, is expected to bring significant relief to the community, improving accessibility and enhancing the overall quality of life for residents. The project is part of the local government’s efforts to address the community’s long-standing needs and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the area.

The community residents, who were visibly delighted by the commissioning, expressed their gratitude to the chairman and the state government for the project. They hoped that more projects like this would be commissioned across various places in Sagamu, further enhancing the quality of life for all residents.

As the community celebrates this milestone, they look forward to continued growth and development under the leadership of Ogbeni Jubril Odulate and Governor Dapo Abiodun.
