Governor Dapo Abiodun Hosts Ogun State Imams and Alfas for Special Iftar, Emphasizes Unity and Spiritual Reflection
In a gesture of spiritual solidarity and communal bonding, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State hosted the League of Imams and Alfas for a special Iftar gathering, marking an evening of reflection and unity during the holy month of Ramadan.
The event, which brought together Muslim clerics and community leaders, served as an opportunity to foster togetherness and highlight the values of faith, self-discipline, and compassion that define the sacred period of Ramadan.
Governor Abiodun underscored the importance of patience, charity, and devotion, emphasizing that fasting is a reminder of self-restraint and empathy towards the less privileged.
