Governor Dapo Abiodun Seek Support For Fallen Heroes’ Families

The Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has cautioned that the normal political temperature in the state courtesy of his administration over the last three and a half years should be maintained as the general election is fast approaching.

This is as he emphasized that his administration would continue to remember the Nation’s fallen heroes by providing support to them through the Nigerian Legion.

Dapo said these during a special church service to mark the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, held at the Cathedral Church of St. Peters, Ake, Abeokuta, on Sunday.

Also, he commended the efforts and patriotism of the fallen heroes and their sacrifices to maintain a united and peaceful nation.

“I call on good-spirited individuals and organizations to come to the aid of the families left behind by the country’s fallen heroes,” he said.

The governor appealed to all Nigerians to participate in the forthcoming general elections.

He said partly, “We want to enjoin you that as responsible citizens, they say that a people deserve the leaders that they choose. You will not be able to choose your future leaders if you do not collect your PVCs, and you will not be able to be part of the Renewed Hope for Nigeria if you do not collect your cards.”
