Governor Dapo Begins Second Term With Inauguration Ceremony, 63rd Birthday Celebration in Abeokuta

The 2nd term inauguration of prince Dapo Abiodun and Noimot Salako-Oyedele, took place today at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abeoukuta. The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Senator Solomon Adeola, the Akarigbo of Remo Land, Yemi Sodimu and Adegboun Broadcasting Commission, and Alhaji Bode.

Upon his arrival at the stadium, His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, went around to wave at the 20 local government areas before taking his seat. He also greeted all those seated in the VIP section. After the National Anthem and the State Anthem, the prayers were led by the Chairman, Kunle Akinsanya.

In attendance are several dignitaries, including the former Deputy Governor, Yetunde Ononuga, the mother of the present Deputy Governor, and the mother of the Governor. Other dignitaries in attendance included Alalake Adedotin Gbadebo and the Akarigbo of Yewa, Pastor Kehinde Awujale of Ijebu, and the representative of Orimolusi Ijebu Ode.

The ceremony is a celebration of democracy and It an opportunity for the people of Ogun State to witness the 2nd term inauguration and to come together to celebrate this important moment in the state’s history. Not to forget, the governor also celebrates his 63rd birthday.
