The Hoteliers Association of Nigeria’s Ogun State Chapter celebrated its eagerly awaited New Year gala on Monday, April 21, at the Molaroid Hotel on Oba Erinwole Road, Sagamu. The event successfully brought together hoteliers, local dignitaries, and industry stakeholders, fostering a festive atmosphere filled with camaraderie and appreciation.

 

Otunba Sunday Oyeyemi, the Zonal Chairman of the Sagamu zone, welcomed guests with heartfelt gratitude for their attendance, underscoring the critical role of unity and collaboration among hoteliers in driving growth within the hospitality sector. He commended the industry’s resilience amid recent challenges and encouraged attendees to prioritize excellence and innovation.

 

The night featured an awards ceremony celebrating exceptional contributions to the hospitality field. Among the distinguished awardees was Chief Olujimi Dada, Chairman of Molaroid Hotel, recognized for his outstanding commitment to enhancing the hotel experience in the region. Otunba Sunday Oyeyemi was also honored for his steadfast leadership and advocacy for hoteliers’ interests across Ogun State.

 

In a significant addition to the evening, the area commander of the Remo Command of the Nigeria Police Force provided valuable security advice, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between law enforcement and the hospitality sector to ensure a safe environment for businesses and their patrons.

 

The New Year celebration concluded on a high note, with attendees networking and exchanging ideas, setting a positive tone for the hospitality industry in Ogun State as they move forward into the year.
