Human Rights Group Calls for Action Against Rape, Growing Sexual Assault in Sagamu

Advocate in Defense of Human Rights and Culture (ADHURIC), a human rights firm based in Sagamu, has called on the government and security agencies to take action against the increasing cases of rape, minor defilement, and sexual assault in the area. The group has expressed concern over the growing number of minors who are being assaulted and has called for strong measures to be taken against perpetrators.

According to ADHURIC, anyone caught in the act of rape or minor defilement should be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law. The group has also called for more awareness campaigns to educate the public on the dangers of sexual assault and the importance of reporting such cases to the authorities.

The group has urged the government and security agencies to take the necessary steps to curb the growing incidence of sexual assault in the area.

The call to action has been welcomed by many residents who have expressed concern over the safety of their children and the need for more measures to be put in place to protect them.
