Idado Youth Development Association Gets New Executives: Radanuwa Of Idado, Ambassador Easy Charge Leaders to Duty

The Idado Youth Development Association has inaugurated its new executive council members in a ceremony held at the palace of the Radanuwa of Idado, Oba Musiliu Oriyomi Soile.

 

After a thorough screening process, the committee selected qualified candidates, which were approved by the Radanuwa.

Oba Musiliu Oriyomi Soile, in his opening speech, thanked the committee for their hard work and encouraged the new executives to take their responsibilities seriously. “This is a big responsibility that has been placed upon you. I will only advise that you do due diligence to it and discharge your duties accordingly. It must also be noted this is a big assignment and service to the community.”

 

The inauguration ceremony was attended by youth leaders and stakeholders from Sagamu and Idado, led by Sagamu Youth Association President, Ambassador Olugbenga Lawal, also known as “Ambassador Easy.”

The newly inaugurated executives are led by Comr. Adedoyin Sonuga as President, alongside Comr. Aliu Sanni as Vice President, Comr. Ahmeed Soboyejo as General Secretary, Comr. Oyename Damilola as Assistant General Secretary, Comr. Hassan Oladimeji as Financial Secretary, and Comr. Yinusa Kareem as Treasurer. Other members of the executive council include Comr. Ayomikun Saibu as Auditor, Comr. Ogunsowo Azeez as PRO 1, Comr. Ajayi Sikiru as PRO 2, and Comr. Oyename Akeem as Chief Whip 1.

 

Additional members of the executive council include Comr. Adekoya Akeem as Chief Whip 2, Comr. Olatunji Kazeem as Ex-Officio 1, Comr. Rukayat Sogade as Ex-Officio 2, Comr. Olamide Kamiyo as Ex-Officio 3, and Comr. Sodunola Sulaiman as Ex-Officio 4. The welfare directors are Comr. Adegboyega Sheu Lawal and Comr. Odunuga Monsurat, while Comr. Adeyinka Aina and Comr. Idowu Oduwaye serve as Social Directors 1 and 2, respectively. Comr. Barrister Jumoke Coker and Comr. Shoda Monsuru were appointed as Special Duty 1 and 2.

Ambassador Olugbenga Lawal urged the new executives to be good representatives and ambassadors of Idado, and called for proper collaboration with the Sagamu Youth Association for the swift and further development of Sagamu and Idado.

 

The inauguration ceremony also witnessed the recognition and decoration of BOT members.
