Ijaya Progressive Coalition Meets, Urges LG Aspirants to Engage Ward Leaders

The Ijaya Progressive Coalition, a political group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Remo Federal Constituency, held its weekly meeting, attended by leaders and loyalists from all wards in Sagamu Local Government.

Alhaji Sanni, while addressing the gathering, highlighted Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Oriyimi Onanuga IJAYA’s commitment to Remo’s development, citing various projects, including the Oko ati Ada Road, Simawa High School classroom construction, and fertiliser distribution to farmers.

The meeting also focused on preparations for the upcoming local government elections. Hon. Majokanola Suraju Idowu emphasized the importance of loyalty and accountability among party leaders.

Deputy Chief Whip, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Princess Otunba Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga IJAYA, urged aspirants to connect with ward and party leaders, stressing her loyalty to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun and support for only loyal candidates.

The meeting concluded with a roll call, noting Ward 14’s highest attendance, and gift distribution to attendees.
