ILISAN AND ISANBI HIGH SCHOOL WINS BIG FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Recognition was given to schools that have performed well and acted exceptional in national exams during the Thursday session of the 2022 edition of Isanbi day held at Ilisan town hall.
Oyedoyin Samuel from Ilisan high school and Boluwatife Peter from Isanbi comprehensive high school were given a financial award for emerging as the best students in the 2021/2022 WAEC examination. The award was named the “Okoko Family educational award” presented honouring apostle Solomon Owolabi Ifede, stating how importantly late Solomon Owolabi appreciated the impact and effect of education.
The Chief Owoyemi family also hosted an award tagged” Chief Owoyemi award” presented to two law department undergraduates from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), for their outstanding performances.
Sir. Muftau Olakunle, the chairman of ilisan development association, appreciated the family for hosting such a big award. He further encouraged the awardees to continue in their excellent performances and not forget to contribute to the development of the community when they can.
