Indigenous Books and Art Hosts 1st Remo Free Summer Camp for Students

Indigenous Books and Art is set to host the first Remo Free Summer Camp for students from the ages of 5-12 years. The summer camp, tagged “Transformers,” is scheduled to hold from August 7th-12th at Remo secondary school (RSS) Sagamu.

The camp aims to enrich and empower the lives of children and teenagers by providing them with the opportunity to attend summer camp, which helps them to build fundamental skills such as teamwork and responsibility, make new friends, and teaches them that the sky is not the limit.

The Remo Free Summer Camp gives children from across the communities in Remo the experience of summer camp, enlightening them to novel opportunities and empowering them to reach their highest potential. From cooking, sports, to computer, engineering, arts, and more, the camp makes sure that no matter their interests, they make it possible for them to engage their sense of adventure.

Some of the activities to be done during the camp include arts and craft, book reading, dance and music, games, adventure, sports, and many others.

According to the organizers, the camp is aimed at providing a fun and educational experience for children during the summer holidays. Interested schools and individuals are to get their participation form at Remo TV office in Itunsokun Sagamu. The organizers are also encouraging parents to enroll their children in the camp to help them build vital skills that will be useful in their future careers.
