International Women’s Day: Odulate Celebrates Women, Pledges Support for Inclusion

The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Jubril Olasile Odulate, has celebrated women for their contributions to society as the world marks International Women’s Day.
In a statement commemorating the day, Odulate commended women for their strength, perseverance and the significant roles they play in families, workplaces and communities.
He acknowledged the impact of women across Sagamu Local Government and beyond, noting that their efforts in homes, markets, schools and offices continue to drive development and progress in society.
The chairman also recognised women who contribute to community growth through service and entrepreneurship, describing them as vital to social and economic advancement.
Odulate said the local government remains committed to promoting policies and initiatives that encourage the growth, protection and inclusion of women across all sectors.
According to him, when women are supported to thrive, communities become stronger and more prosperous.
He added that the occasion provides an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women, honour their sacrifices and appreciate the many ways they continue to shape a better society.
