International Youth Day to be Celebrated in Remo on August 12

The Remo community is gearing up to mark International Youth Day on August 12, 2024, with a dynamic event centered on “Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health.” The gathering is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Christ Apostolic Grammar School’s Apolo Hall in Iperu Remo.
Under the auspices of Remo Youth Association and Remo Growth and Development Foundation (RGDF), the event will feature esteemed speakers, including Dr. Opeyemi Agbato, Head of Agriculture Directorate who will delve into the realm of youth-driven agriculture, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo, Head of Education and Youth Empowerment and, Com. ‘Bidemi Solarin, Chairman of the Remo Youth Association, will also contribute his quota to the Remo International Youth Day event.
The Royal Father of the day, Oba Dr. Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, Torungbuwa II, Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of RemoLand, will bring his esteemed presence to the occasion. Otunba Seni Adetu, Chairman of RGDF, will as well serve as the Chief Host of this important day for the youth.
