The Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has officially opened the registration process for the 2024/2025 Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

Interested candidates across the country can now begin their registration, which will continue until February 24, 2024. JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, assured that measures have been put in place to ensure a smooth exercise. Prior to the registration, an accreditation exercise was conducted to assess the suitability of each Computer-Based Test (CBT) center for the examination.

The registration requires candidates to create a profile using their National Identity Number at designated CBT centers, with a registration fee of N3,500.

In a meeting with media executives in Lagos State, JAMB Registrar Ishaq Oloyede highlighted the involvement of various stakeholders in the accreditation of CBT centers. The accreditation team consists of Chief External Examiners, Technical Advisors, JAMB state coordinators, and JAMB Technical Officers.

The registration procedure mandates candidates to create a profile using their National Identity Number at any designated CBT center across the country. To generate their profile, candidates can utilize JAMB USS codes 55019 or 66019. It is important to note that the registration fee is N3,500, and the payment process is cashless to prevent any form of extortion.

With the commencement of the registration process, JAMB has accredited a total of 747 CBT centers for the upcoming UTME. These centers have undergone a thorough evaluation to ensure their suitability for conducting the examinations. Candidates are encouraged to complete their registration within the specified timeframe and adhere to the guidelines provided by JAMB.
