Kano State Governor Approves Appointment of Interim Management Board for Kano Pillars

Kano State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the appointment of an interim management board for Kano Pillars (Masu Gida). The board will be inaugurated on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. The board will be chaired by Babangida Little, with Garba Umar, Naziru Aminu Abubakar, Bashir Chilla, Ali Nayara Mai Samba, Shuaibu Ibrahim Doguwa, Rabiu Pele, Muhammed Danjuma, Sabo Chokalinka, Abba Haruna (Dala FM), Engr. Usman Kofar Na’isa, Yakubu Pele, and Comrade Sani Ibrahim Coach as members and secretary.
This appointment is a step towards the reorganization of Kano Pillars and the development of sports in Kano State. The interim management board is expected to bring their expertise to bear in the management of the club, and to work towards the achievement of the goals and objectives of the club.
The Kano State Government has reiterated its commitment to the development of sports in the state and has urged members of the public to support the interim management board in its efforts to take Kano Pillars to greater heights.
