Kylian Mbappe Remains Hopeful of Real Madrid’s Champions League Comeback Against Arsenal
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe remains optimistic about a potential comeback in their Champions League tie against Arsenal. Despite suffering a heavy 3-0 defeat in the first leg of the quarter-finals at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, Mbappe believes the Spanish giants can turn the tide in the return leg.
Arsenal secured their victory with two goals from Declan Rice and another from Mikel, leaving Real Madrid with a steep challenge ahead. The two teams will meet again next Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu for the second leg.
After the match, Mbappe called on his teammates to maintain their belief in a turnaround. “The comeback is possible, of course. We have to believe until the end,” he stated, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Before facing Arsenal again, Real Madrid will take on Alaves in La Liga this Sunday.
