Lagos State Government Urges Commuters to Plan Ahead of Dangote Refinery Inauguration

The Lagos State government has advised commuters to plan their movement along the Lekki-Epe corridor ahead of the May 22 inauguration of the Dangote Refinery by President Muhammadu Buhari. The state’s Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, stated that the warning was necessary due to the high vehicular movement expected on the axis because of the project commissioning.

He urged residents to plan their journeys in advance to prevent avoidable delays on the road. During the event, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and other traffic enforcement personnel will be on the ground to ensure effective control of traffic.
