Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu congratulates newly inaugurated Lagos State House of Assembly

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated the newly inaugurated Lagos State House of Assembly. Speaking at the Proclamation of the 10th Lagos State House of Assembly, the Governor highlighted the essential role that the legislature plays in our democracy. He emphasized that the legislature is a crucial partner in our quest for good governance and that this Assembly is a testament to the strength of our democracy and the commitment of Lagosians to the pursuit of excellence.
The Governor went on to praise the Assembly for adhering to the principles of fairness, respect for majority rule, and protection of the rights of the minority. He congratulated Hon. Mudashiru Obasa and Hon. Mojisola Miranda for emerging as the Hon. Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 10th Assembly. Their election serves as a reminder that the bedrock of our democracy is built on these principles.
