Lagos State Launches Innovative Revenue Portal to Enhance IGR and Simplify Tax Payments
The Lagos State government has introduced the Lagos Revenue Portal (LRP), an advanced platform designed to enhance the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) by streamlining tax processes and minimizing systemic leakages. Unveiled at a media briefing held at Revenue House in Alausa, Ikeja, the LRP represents a significant step towards improving fiscal transparency and efficiency within Lagos State. Kadiri Ogunbo, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Taxation and Revenue, emphasized that the platform is a critical component of the state’s broader strategy to ease business operations and improve the overall tax collection process.
