Lagos State, Queens Borough to Collaborate on Tech, Youth Empowerment, Gender Equality

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State yesterday received a delegation from the Borough of Queens, New York, led by President Donovan Richards, at Lagos House. The meeting was aimed at enhancing mutual cooperation between Queens Borough and Lagos State in tech and innovation, youth empowerment, and gender equality.

The governor expressed his delight at the visit and said that Lagos State is open to partnerships that will promote the development of both communities. He stated that Lagos State has a lot to learn from Queens Borough in terms of innovation and youth empowerment and that he is committed to working with President Richards to explore areas of mutual cooperation.

The meeting was productive, and both parties agreed to explore areas of collaboration in tech and innovation, youth empowerment, and gender equality.
