Governor Sanwo-Olu also extended an invitation to independent paddy rice farmers, urging them to collaborate and contribute to sustaining rice production in Lagos. The goal is to make Lagos self-sufficient in rice production, ensuring a steady and reliable supply of this staple food.

With these initiatives in motion, Lagos State is paving the way for a future where food security is prioritized and accessible to all residents. The commitment to working with farmers, reducing waste, and promoting sustainable agriculture demonstrates the state’s dedication to ensuring healthy diets for its growing population.
