LAWMA Arrests Roadside Traders In Ikoyi

The enforcement team of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority has embarked on an exercise to combat the excesses of roadside traders.
Following a post on Friday, it has been revealed that LAWMA arrested illegal wheelbarrow pushers trading by the roadside at the Macgregor Road and Awolowo Road in the Ikoyi area of the state.
Spokesperson for the state Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Kunle Adeshina, made this known on his X page.
He wrote, “LAWMA Environmental Monitoring and Enforcement Team on night duty Thursday at Macgregor Toad and Awolowo Road in Ikoyi arrestee illegal wheelbarrow pushers trading by the roadside and walkways.”
