LG Elections: Sagamu APC Inaugurates Campaign Committee, Appoints Hon. Arole Azeez Bello as Director General

In preparation for the Ogun Local Government Election scheduled for November 16, 2024, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sagamu has taken a significant step by inaugurating its Campaign Committee.

The event, held at the campaign office of the party’s Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate (AFO), marked the official launch of the campaign activities.

Hon. AFO welcomed the committee members and expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support shown by the party. He reflected on the party’s unity and resilience and underscored the importance of this moment in the party’s political journey.

At the heart of the meeting, Hon. AFO appointed Hon. Arole Azeez Bello as the Director General (DG) of the campaign team. The committee members, drawn from across Sagamu, were chosen to ensure comprehensive representation in the campaign process. Subcommittees were established to focus on critical areas like Finance & Budget, Welfare, Mobilization, Media & Publicity, Youth Engagement, Women Engagement, and more.

In his acceptance speech, Hon. Bello expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and pledged to lead the campaign with dedication and enthusiasm. He emphasized the local nature of the election and the importance of reaching every ward and household within Sagamu.

The campaign committee members, including Media & Publicity Chairperson Titilope Adeniran, stressed the need for effective communication and coordination among all subcommittees to ensure success. Hon. AFO concluded the event with optimism, expressing confidence in the party’s potential to secure victory across all positions in Sagamu.
