Man caught in Ogun for Menacing Community with Fake Pistol

 

 

Security operatives from the So-Safe Corps in Ogun State have apprehended an individual accused of creating terror in the Ala community of the Odogbolu Local Government Area.

 

The suspect, identified as Daniel Iwalokun, reportedly used a toy gun to intimidate residents. The So-Safe Corps, led by the Ijebu Zonal Operation team, made the arrest to curtail the alleged criminal activities of Iwalokun. Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspect operated alone with the fake pistol.

 

Iwalokun and the seized toy gun have been transferred to the Obalende Divisional Police Headquarters for further inquiry and possible prosecution, on the directive of the Corps Commander, Soji Ganzallo. This comes after the recent arrest of another individual, Kabiru Adedotun a suspected notorious Eye Confraternity cultist terrorising Ogun communities by the So-Safe Corps while recovering a cut-to-size pistol from him.

 

However, Adetoun and the exhibit recovered from him had been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Monitoring Unit, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta for onward transfer to the State Police Headquarters, Eleweran for further investigation and likely prosecution
