Meet Seyi Edun, beauty, brain and elegance! is a Nigerian actress and film producer.

Though born June 4th in Lagos, Seyi is an indigene of Ayetoro Egbado, Ogun State, Nigeria. She had her primary and secondary school education from Tunyo Nursery and Primary school and Anglican Girls Grammar School in Surelere, Lagos, before obtaining her first degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University, in 2011.

Seyi is popularly known as Ẹja nla, started her acting career after she joined the Wisdom Caucus where she graduated in 2011, and took on minor roles. She hit the limelight with her movie, Eja Nla and has since starred in over 20 movies such as Dara, Alejo, Case Closed, Oso Aje and many more.. She is known for her versatility and her ability to play a variety of roles.

In 2019, Edun starred in the movie “Omo Ghetto: The Saga”, which was a commercial success. She received critical acclaim for her performance in the movie and was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.

In 2020, Edun starred in the movie “Sugar Rush”, another commercial success, where she received critical acclaim for her performance in the movie and was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.

Topping her achievement is her establishment of a training school – Shaiworld School of Performing Arts, with the aim of teaching and guiding interested students in the field of professional acting, directing, scriptwriting and other section of filmmaking process.

Seyi is a proud indigene and often speaks about her love for her home state. She is an inspiration to many young people in Ogun State and is proof that anything is possible if you work hard and follow your dreams.
