Meet the Man, Memorable
Oluseun Abiodun Ajayi was born more than five decades ago in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State on the 6th of January, to the family of Late Venerable J. O. A. Ajayi and Chief (Mrs) Mercy Olatunde Ajayi. As the fourth of siblings, he spent most of his early days in Ijebu-Ode, attending Porogun School for his primary education and the prestigious Adeola Odutola College for his secondary. He had to change to Molusi College, Ijebu-Igbo when his father was transferred to Ijebu-Igbo, in 1985, for completion of his secondary education.
He proceed to Ondo state Polytechnic where he study Accountancy. He was at Warri for his Industrial Training at Humanitex Nig. Ltd, a Fire- Arms company. His thirst for education led him into University of Lagos where he bagged his B.Sc in Psychology.
Seun’s business journey started as an undergraduate in UNILAG, with his first brainchild, “EATABLES”, a chicken/fish and chips joint in Eni-Njoku Hall which he ran with Ronke, his now lovable wife.
While he worked with Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), he formed Absolute Fumigation Service Ltd, an industrial cleaning, landscaping and fumigation company. He later resigned from FAAN to face his business squarely.
In 2005, he started the Memorable Events which has grown to become an household name in Lagos, Ogun and beyond. He made use of the popular Mobile Bar and drink bowls when he started. This style started by Memorable Event have now become most event industries style. His success was beyond words.
Like Oliver Twist however, he still wanted more. His relentless quest for success and passion for excellence, he formed another company in the hospitality industry – Absolutely Memorable Lounge Ltd at Idotun, Ikenne in 2014. He built added a twenty-six room hotel facility for Remo and Ogun state as a whole in 2020.
These establishments have given Ikenne-Remo another reason to be part of the leading industrious communities in the state. Year in year out, Mr Seun’s company gives back to the society, visiting school donating and giving scholarships to student who deserves them, hosting events to engage the community, etc.
