Methodist church of Nigeria, Diocese of Remo, hold press conference to commence 2022 Jesus festival

On Monday 5th, December 2022, the Methodist church of Nigeria Diocese of Remo, held a press conference to kick-start the 2022 edition of their annual Jesus festival tagged” Jesus the Prince of peace” which is scheduled to hold from 5th to 11th of December 2022.

The one-week-long “Jesus festival” is targeted towards preaching Jesus as he’s the only one who can bring peace to Nigeria, essentially in the political period we are in presently.

Speaking during the press conference is the Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. J.m Bamidele Ibikunle reiterated how impacting this year’s festival will be, “this year’s Jesus festival will come different from the former. We want to preach Jesus as we all need him in our lives, and we have come to the understanding they there’s nothing we can do about him”

“We are all glad this is happening, and we invite everyone to be part of this Jesus festival”.

When asked what the church is going to do to contribute to CSR during the program, the Bishop said;” yes, we have a lot in place for CSR as we will be having medical/welfare outreach, free feeding and medical drugs been shared free of charge to people who need them. We put the people first, and we do everything to cater to their welfare, that is what Jesus has instructed us to do as Christians”.

The Jesus festival starts on Monday 5th December 2022 and ends on Sunday 11th of December. Music ministers and other anointed men of God are expected to be on the ground as blessings, salvation, and breakthrough is assured through Jesus Christ, the whole essence of the festival.
