The contestants arrived at the event venue early for rehearsals, where they practiced their routines and polished their performances. The event commenced at 1 pm, drawing an enthusiastic crowd from neighboring towns such as Ikenne, Iperu, Sagamu, and beyond. The atmosphere was lively, filled with excitement and anticipation.
The entertainment kicked off with music provided by DJ Dynamite, whose playlist kept the audience energized. MC Adaptor, the master of ceremonies, expertly engaged the crowd with humor, welcoming guests and introducing the dignitaries, judges, and special guests. Prominent figures in attendance included Prince Wole Sowile, the Remo Day planning committee chair, and a panel of distinguished judges, including Dr. Olabisi Adekoya, founder and CEO of VOA Charity; Olori Olubunmi Legunsen Windapo; Princess Adetoke Adeleke Adedoyin; and Comrade Oluwasegun Olaisanya.
The arrival of the royal dignitaries added grandeur to the event. His Royal Majesty Oba Dr. Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remo Land, graced the occasion alongside other notable figures such as Oba Musiliu Oriyomi Soile, Radanuwa of Idado, Asiwaju Dr. Solomon Kayode Onafowokan, Otunba Seni Adetu, and his wife, among others. Their presence underscored the cultural significance of the event.
The contestants, numbered 1 through 11, made their grand entrance, dancing onto the stage in traditional attire, each eager to showcase their talents and beauty. They performed various acts, from singing and dancing to poetry and other creative displays. The audience was captivated as each contestant presented her unique skills. After the talent showcase, the contestants donned evening wear for the catwalk, with judges carefully evaluating their poise, confidence, and overall presentation.

The event also featured a segment where a skilled contestant demonstrated her talent creatively by tying a gele using a sack of rice, which received applause from the crowd. The pageant’s climax was the selection of the top five contestants, who were asked questions by judges and the Onigele Development Committee. After a series of questions and evaluations, the judges crowned the winner: Oluwakemisola Adeola, Miss Lipakala, as Miss Remo 2025. She was awarded a prize of five million naira along with a trophy. The first runner-up was Precious Idowu from Akesan, who received three million naira, while the second runner-up, Oluwatomisin Ayobami from Lidero, earned two million naira.
The event concluded with celebrations, photographs, and speeches. Miss Remo, in her acceptance speech, expressed gratitude for the support received and pledged to serve as an inspiration to young girls. She emphasized the importance of cultural pride, good conduct, and talent development. Dr. Soyombo also acknowledged notable contributors, including Mrs. Remi, who donated 20 computers to Sagamu High School, highlighting the event’s focus on community development.
