Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has announced that his life feels revitalized as his hit song ‘Shake Body’ trends once again, a decade after its original release. This renewed attention comes in the wake of Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal’s viral dance to the track.
Skales took to his social media to celebrate the moment, urging fans to allow him to enjoy it without comparisons. He expressed gratitude for the unexpected resurgence, thanking God for the favor and calling on his colleagues and supporters to collaborate for greater success.
On his X (formerly Twitter) account, he shared, “I feel like my life just restarted again … I’m nothing but a learner pls allow me to enjoy this moment without disrespecting anyone that has achieved way more than me … God is the greatest … let’s grow together yall.”
Additionally, Skales met with Yamal over the weekend after Barcelona’s dramatic 3-2 victory over Real Madrid, which secured the Copa del Rey title at Sevilla’s Estadio La Cartuja. He also had the opportunity to meet the young star’s mother.
