Nollywood Actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Reveals Battle with Life-Threatening Illness
Renowned Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has shared a personal and harrowing experience with her fans, revealing her recent battle with a life-threatening illness. In a video posted on her Instagram page, the 46-year-old actress disclosed that she underwent surgery to remove her gallbladder.
Omotola expressed gratitude to God for her recovery, while also sharing a message of hope and resilience. “Have you ever been told by your doctor that there’s nothing more they can do, and yet you still feel like you’re dying?” she asked.
According to Omotola, her ordeal began with severe stomach pain and persistent vomiting. She was rushed to the emergency room for the third time, where she underwent a series of tests, including a CT scan, ultrasound, and MRI. The diagnosis revealed that her gallbladder needed to be removed immediately.
Omotola recounted the frightening experience, saying, “The fight for my life began. I was wheeled in for surgery, and I’m grateful to have made it through.” Her bravery and determination in the face of adversity have inspired her fans, who have been sending messages of support and well-wishes.
