By: Emmanuel Ibitoye
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued crucial tips to prospective corps members mobilized for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 call-up. With the orientation camp scheduled to commence on August 28, 2024, and conclude on September 17, 2024.
Prospective corps members are advised to avoid traveling to the orientation camps at night, instead opting to break their journey when necessary. Additionally, they are expected to report on their scheduled reporting date to facilitate a smooth documentation process. The NYSC management emphasizes the importance of addressing any discrepancies in personal details, such as spelling errors or name rearrangements, on their dashboard prior to camp documentation.
Once documentation is complete, certain details, including Date of Birth, Date of Graduation, Course of Study, and Passport Photograph, cannot be altered. Therefore, prospective corps members are urged to verify their information carefully before camp documentation. Furthermore, individuals with discrepancies in their course of study or Date of Graduation on their Statement of Result and Call-up Letter are advised to resolve the issue with their institution before reporting to the camp.
