Former Super Eagles forward Peter Odemwingie has officially transitioned to a career in professional golf, having graduated from golf school.

The 42-year-old, who enjoyed a successful football career in the Premier League with clubs like West Bromwich Albion, Cardiff City, and Stoke City, turned to golf following his retirement from football.

“It’s motivating being around people who have the drive to achieve and get this PGA Member badge on your chest!” Odemwingie shared with the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) official website.

Odemwingie, a fan favorite during his football days, scored over 30 goals for West Bromwich Albion. He also had a distinguished international career, representing Nigeria at two FIFA World Cups and winning an Olympic silver medal in 2008.
