Ogbeni Jubril Odulate Sends Sallah Message to the People of Sagamu

The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has extended warm greetings to the people of Sagamu, describing the season as more than just a date on the calendar but a feeling of peace, unity, and shared joy.

In a personal and emotive message released on the eve of Sallah, Ogbeni Odulate emphasized the beauty of togetherness that defines the festive period. “Sallah isn’t just a date on the calendar. It’s a feeling,” he wrote. “The kind that comes with the smell of something delicious cooking, the sound of familiar voices laughing, and the comfort of being surrounded by people you love.”

He urged residents to embrace the deeper meaning of the celebration, not just in the sharing of meals and prayers, but also in spreading kindness and compassion throughout the community.

“This season teaches us that true sacrifice isn’t always about what we give up, it’s also about what we give to others,” the message read.

Beyond the usual festive wishes, Ogbeni Odulate extended his goodwill in a profound manner, sending “peace, real peace, the kind that settles the heart,” along with ease in daily struggles and clarity in life’s decisions.

He also took the opportunity to appreciate the daily efforts of Sagamu residents in fostering a peaceful and progressive community, praying that the blessings of Sallah bring comfort, joy, and answered prayers to all.
