OGSG CHARGES 511 PRINCIPALS OVER GOOD PROPAGATION OF POLICIES

The government of Ogun State under the administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun has called on the 511 principals of its secondary schools to be good ambassadors that would propagate its policies and ideas.

The Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu made this call during a strategic meeting with principals ahead of school’s resumption at Abeokuta Grammar School, Idi-aba, where he advised them to continue to adhere strictly to directives of the government in tandem with free education, admission, transfer, and other processes put in place.

Arigbabu encouraged the school administrators to come up with pragmatic ideas and initiatives that would improve standards and help move their schools to an enviable height, positing that some processes in the education sector would be institutionalized to outlive the present administration.

“I want to applaud you all for managing your schools devoid of any embarrassment to the government, and I would like to encourage you to continue to be good ambassadors of government and its directives and policies put in place to ensure improved quality and standard education in our dear state”, he said.
