OGUN AGRO CARGO AIRPORT NEAR COMPLETION, SET FOR DELIVERY DATE
The Ogun State Agro Cargo Airport situated along Iperu-Ilisan road is nearly completed and construction works on the site is being intensified to meet the delivery date.
The Central Department of Monitoring and Evaluation revealed this during an ongoing routine assessment on the project site in Iperu, Ogun state.
Stating the essence of the ongoing assessment of the project, Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Ministry of Budget and Planning, Mr. David Onigbinde, revealed that the visit was to ascertain the authenticity of the monthly reports submitted on projects, while physical evaluation was to ensure conformity with the laid down procedures for the implementation of projects.
Speaking earlier, the Chief Surveyor of the project, Mr. Micheal Dannawh, informed that the Airport when completed, would function as a Cargo and Passenger carriers being constructed with the Runway almost done, while the Control Tower, the administrative building, the Cargo Apron and the Taxiway were being worked on, assuring that the first phase of the project would be delivered soon.
