Ogun Corp Members Urged To Take Advantage Of Skill Acquisition Training

Mrs. Winifred Shokpeka, the Ogun State coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), over the weekend in Sagamu, enjoined corps members to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Programme.

Shokpeka encouraged corps members to utilize the training, financial partnerships, and opportunities provided by the SAED Programme and exposure to several sub-skills under the 12 skills sectors at the camp and at places of primary assignments

She said, “It is believed that within the next few months, some of those trained will begin to create wealth for themselves and become employers of labour.”

Besides, she further encouraged the corps members to proceed with post-camp training as Arrangements have been made for trainers at each local government area within the State after the camp as the two weeks of training is not sufficient for thorough knowledge in a vocation.
