Ogun Government Issues Warning Against Unauthorized Transactions on State-Owned Properties

The Ogun State government has issued a stern warning to the public to refrain from buying and selling state-owned lands and properties.

This caution was delivered during a monitoring exercise by the Bureau of Lands and Survey, headed by Esv. Fatai Adeboyejo, in the Sabo area of Abeokuta North Local Government.

Adeboyejo condemned the activities of encroachers who have been illegally occupying government-acquired lands intended for public use. He stressed the importance of due diligence, urging prospective land buyers to seek advice and verification from the Director-General of the Bureau of Lands and Survey at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, before making any purchases.

Ewulo highlighted that a task force has been established to combat the activities of land grabbers. He emphasized that proper documentation is crucial for any land transaction to ensure legitimacy and avoid disputes.
