Ogun Police PRO Meets Ogun House of Assembly on Security Challenges
SP Omolola Odutola, Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer recently paid a visit to the Ogun State House of Assembly in order to meet the lawmakers to discuss security challenges in the state.
Present for the meeting was Rt. Hon. Oludaisi .V. Elemide the Speaker of the House and his Deputy, Hon. Latifat Ajayi along with other principal members.
During the meeting, SP Omolola Odutola highlighted several security challenges prevalent in the interior parts of Ogun State. These challenges included the theft of motorcycles belonging to farmers, who rely on these vehicles to transport their harvest from farms. Additionally, concerns were raised about the safety of tertiary institutions, gender-based violence, street trading, and the proliferation of one-chance criminal activities.
In response, the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi .V. Elemide, commended the efforts of the Commissioner of Police, CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha, in maintaining peace and security in the state. He assured the police command of the House of Assembly’s support and collaboration to uphold tranquility and security across Ogun State.
