Ogun State Appoints Apelogun as Amirul Hajj for 2025, Forms Welfare Committee
The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Board has officially appointed Prince Adebayo Apelogun, who also serves as the National President of the Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners, Repairs and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), as the Amirul Hajj for the upcoming 2025 pilgrimage. He will head a 14-member ad-hoc welfare committee dedicated to ensuring a successful and seamless experience for the state’s pilgrims.
In addition to his role as Amirul Hajj, Prince Apelogun holds distinguished titles including Asiwaju Adinni of Ogun State and Baba Adinni of Remo. The welfare committee will be chaired by Shaekh Ishaq Olorungbebe.
The committee comprises the following members:

The Pilgrims Board has urged the committee members to approach their duties with commitment and a strong sense of responsibility, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the comfort, welfare, and safety of all pilgrims from Ogun State during the Hajj.
