Ogun State Assembly Member Urges President to Address Dire Living Conditions in Nigeria

Odogbolu, Ogun State – In a passionate plea to President Bola Tinubu, Ogun State Assembly Minority Leader Lukman Adeleye voiced his concerns about the deteriorating living conditions in Nigeria. Speaking at an empowerment program for small-scale businesses on International Youth Day, Adeleye highlighted the inability of Nigerians to afford basic necessities, as the prices of food items continue to soar. He emphasized the urgent need for action to alleviate the hardships faced by the common people and restore their purchasing power.

Adeleye expressed his dismay at the current administration’s decision to remove fuel subsidy and float the naira, which has further exacerbated the economic challenges faced by Nigerians. The assembly member emphasized that the rising inflation has hit small-scale businesses the hardest, causing many to shut down. Adeleye urged President Tinubu to take immediate steps to empower the masses and address the prevailing economic crisis.

The dire situation has left many Nigerians struggling to provide three square meals a day and meet their families needs, including school fees. Adeleye’s call for urgent action reflects the growing concerns among politicians and citizens alike.
