Ogun State Government and CyberSquad Launch Tech Device Training Program for Youths
The Ogun State Government, in partnership with tech firm Cybersquad, has launched a three-month training program aimed at equipping youths in the state with skills in technology tool repair, sales, and best practices.
Dayo Abiodun, the Special Adviser to the Governor on ICT, shared details of the initiative during a press briefing at Ogun TechHub in Abeokuta. He emphasized the current administration’s dedication to fostering a digital economy in Ogun State and encouraged interested participants to register at https://bit.ly/cybersquad-ogun. The training is free and promises to unlock numerous opportunities over the duration of the program.
Abiodun outlined the training modules, which will cover essential topics such as in-depth technology repair knowledge, advanced system maintenance, and adherence to industry standards. These skills are designed to promote self-sufficiency and support sustainable development within the state’s digital economy. Registration is open until May 15, with training sessions commencing on May 19 and running through the end of July.
Ifeanyi Adirika, the CEO of Cybersquad, highlighted that the training modules are structured to provide practical, hands-on experience for participants aged 18 and older. Upon completion of the program, attendees will receive comprehensive training kits that include essential tools, learning materials, and technical resources to facilitate the immediate application of their new skills.
